Uninsured Services
What does this mean?
Most doctor's visits are covered under your Alberta Health plan, but there are a few services which are not covered and these fees must be paid by the patient at the time of the appointment or service.
Services which are not covered include:
- Transfer of medical records
- Telephone or fax prescription renewals
- Driver's Medicals
- Some procedures (e.g., circumcision, wart removal)
- Forms, reports or letters*
