When we are closed for the holidays and you need help, please refer to the following alternatives:
Call 811 (just dial "811" on your phone) any time of day to speak to a nurse about any symptoms you are having. They can direct you to the appropriate place from there. Wait times may be long, but someone will get to you eventually. Please have your healthcare card ready.
Our clinic is part of the West Central Primary Care Network, which means the doctors there can see you when we are unable to. When you call 811, one of the nurses there can refer you to their clinic (unless your needs are more urgent). Just let them know your family doctor's name.
You may go to an Urgent Care if you are experiencing a non life-threatening medical issue that should still be seen same day. Some of those include broken bones, sprains, lacerations, asthma, dehydration, pain and infections. Urgent Care wait times are listed here.
Call 911 or proceed directly to a hospital any time you are having a medical emergency.
For any non-urgent issues like routine medication refills, cold/flu symptoms, rashes, etc, you may also go to any available walk-in clinic.
When we return from extended breaks, phone lines are busier than normal with patients booking in, so please plan accordingly if you are going to run out of medication refills or have follow ups which need to be scheduled as you may have to wait a while before you see your family doctor. Thanks for understanding and see you soon!
